Through expertise enhancement De Omslag thoroughly familiarizes the professionals in the care and welfare sector about all of the possibilities in the areas of day services, education, employment and enterprise. This is tailored to individual needs.
Tailored expertise enhancement
Expertise enhancement can be tailored and offered to meet specific needs. Examples of training developed by De Omslag are:
- faculty of job placement organizations (Arkin). Besides gaining procedural skills, the employment aids were coached to become fully aware of the diverse roles that accompany their function.
- separate training covered the rules and regulations in the field of social participation, fine-tuned to align with the training agency at Arkin. Through the use of guest speakers, knowledge and understanding pertaining to the current state of rules and regulations in the field is increased.
- Within the framework of the project Accessible Wellness and along with the Ondernemerskring Sociale sector Amsterdam (OSA) expertise enhancement was provided to train welfare and health organisations on proper treatment of those with psychological problems.
These and other topics in the field of participation fall within the central points of our training.
