Digit-Able: Empowering Digital Skills and Capabilities for Social Enterprises and Their Employees
Digit-Able aims to strengthen the digital capabilities and skills of social enterprises and their employees. The project focuses on organizations that provide services or employment to people with support needs, actively promoting digital transition within this sector.
The project addresses the barriers social enterprises may encounter when using digital tools and technologies. Through national and international focus groups, we identify their digital needs and growth opportunities. Based on these insights, we are developing a comprehensive training program and an international MOOC (Massive Open Online Course), enabling broader access to relevant and tailored digital support.
Digital Innovation Hub and Training Programs
Within Digit-Able, we are building a digital innovation hub that connects social enterprises with organizations dedicated to digitalization and technology. This collaboration accelerates the digital transformation of social enterprises, promotes the adoption of open, fair, and inclusive technologies, and fosters the development of digital social innovations.
European Funding and Collaboration
This project is made possible through financial support from the European Innovation Council and the SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) of the European Commission. Digit-Able is funded through the SMP-COSME-2023-SEED program (Grant Agreement number 101167933).
