Rambler wins WISE manager award

De Omslag is a member and chairman of the European platform ENSIE. In Brussels, ENSIE has presented awards for Work Integration Social Enterprises (WISEs). This was done in the presence and by Brigitte Fellahi, Head of Unit At DG Employment of the European Commission.

The European Year of Youth

Europe has decided this year to focus on youth with the European Year of Youth. To contribute to this particular year, ENSIE decided to highlight with an award the fantastic work done by many WISEs across the EU in integrating disadvantaged young people into the labor market.

ENSIE received more than 20 applications for the award from 14 different countries. The choice was difficult to make between the finalists: CookLook from Croatia, Floare de Cires from Moldova and Rambler Studios from the Netherlands. The prize was awarded in Brussels.

Rambler’s Carmen van der Vecht receives the Wise Manager Award

Rambler Studios from the Netherlands, supported by ENSIE member De Omslag, won the Wise Manager Award. We are proud of Rambler’s Studio, a fashion platform that offers a ‘Design your Life’ program for underprivileged youth.

Through this program they teach them how to present themselves and their work and support them in developing their design, selling it and supporting their personal growth. In general, they support the 37 young people per year. Congratulations!
