Managing Network Dagbesteding

In the autumn of 2023, De Omslag, together with initiators, set up the Administrative Network for Day Care to strengthen the position of day care in the healthcare, social and work sectors. Through joint reflection at administrative level on the challenges and changes within daytime activities, the subject remains prominent on the agenda in Amsterdam. The network, consisting of managers from 25 day care providers, strives for sustainable cooperation with the municipality, focusing on themes such as procurement, access through neighborhood teams and transport. This joint initiative ensures sustainable cooperation and shared responsibility to tackle the bottlenecks in the sector.
